The Spiced Bunny

Ingredients

  • 25ml Cape Town Classic Dry Gin
  • 25ml Ginger Liqueur
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • Orange Slice To Garnish
  • 1 Star Anise
  • 2 Cloves
  • 150ml Ginger Ale
  • 1 Extra Spicy Hot Cross Bun

Preparation

Break the hot cross bun into 2cm pieces and combine with the Gin, Ginger liqueur, and the spices in a glass jar. Seal the jar and shake lightly every hour. Keep overnight in a cool place. Strain the liquid through a fine sieve and then one time through cheese cloth. Serve in a tall glass with ice. Top up with the ginger ale and garnish with a cinnamon stick and a slice of orange.
