Ingredients
- 25ml Cape Town Classic Dry Gin
- 25ml Ginger Liqueur
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- Orange Slice To Garnish
- 1 Star Anise
- 2 Cloves
- 150ml Ginger Ale
- 1 Extra Spicy Hot Cross Bun
Preparation
Break the hot cross bun into 2cm pieces and combine with the Gin, Ginger liqueur, and the spices in a glass jar. Seal the jar and shake lightly every hour. Keep overnight in a cool place. Strain the liquid through a fine sieve and then one time through cheese cloth. Serve in a tall glass with ice. Top up with the ginger ale and garnish with a cinnamon stick and a slice of orange.
